Burt's Bean

This bean is being reintroduced by us as part of a special project in memory of bean variety conservationist, horticultural bibliophile, and an early benefactor of ours, the late Mark Futterman. At the onset of his end-of-life failing health, Mark had the foresight to find homes for his life's work. Mark received this heirloom bean from Jan Blum back in 1986. According to the second edition of the "Garden Seed Inventory," it was introduced by Seeds Blum in 1987. Relatively rare and in limited supply. Each packet contains one ounce, which is approximately 50 seeds.
