80 days, indeterminate — The regular leaf plants of 'Early Bird' produce good quantities of nice, tart flavored, pink fruit weighing up to fifteen ounces.
Originally released by Johnson & Stokes of Philadelphia in 1899, they described it as follows:
"Not since the introduction of our 'Atlantic Prize' in 1889 has any new tomato created such a sensation among growers as this one. Its great earliness, fine size, smoothness, firmness, beautiful bright pink skin and wonderful productiveness are far beyond what the most enthusiastic growers ever expected to realize."
Our seed is grown out from USDA, ARS accession number NSL 26949. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
