90 days, semi-determinate — 'Zolotoy Zapas' translates from Russian to "Gold Reserve" in English. The regular leaf plants produce three to eleven ounce, orange colored, oblate-shaped fruit. Later season fruit tend to be more elongated, heart-shaped. It is an excellent, all-purpose variety good fresh or processed.
A Russian commercial variety, 'Zolotoy Zapas' was sent to us by our friend and heirloom tomato collector, the late Dr. Carolyn Male (NY MA C). Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
