'Chinese Red' is a popular variety for wildlife food plots and cover crop plantings. Most cowpeas will
add 50 to 150 pounds of nitrogen per acre if plowed under when the bush is
in full bloom! If planned for grazing, allow 45 days for the plants to get established. Each one ounce contains approximately 140 seeds.
