60 days — The leaves of 'Dwarf Blue Curled Scotch' kale are finely curled and as its name implies, bluish-green in color. The plants are low growing, reaching about twelve to fifteen inches tall with a spread of twenty-four to thirty inches. This variety stands well (lasts a long time in the garden) and is hardy.
'Dwarf Blue Curled Scotch' kale was developed as a stabilized selection from 'Dwarf Green Curled' by the Virginia Truck Experiment Station and originally introduced as 'Vates Dwarf Blue Curled Scotch' in 1950.
